What is vBulk?
vBulk is a Velrada built extension suite that runs natively inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) to reduce operational effort and improve consistency by enabling bulk processing of common business actions. It is a toolbox designed for teams that need to process high volumes of records and master data changes while maintaining Business Central controls and transaction traceability.
Is vBulk a standalone product?
No. vBulk is an add-on that requires an existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation to function.
What are the licensing requirements for vBulk?
To use vBulk in D365 BC, licenses must be purchased and assigned to all active D365 BC users. Licensing costs are per instance.
Licensing Notes
If an active BC user does not have a vBulk license, they will be restricted accessing and creating records at various points and will receive a permission error.
Bulk Conversion functionality is incorporated in all the standard D365 BC Permission Sets which have Execute Permission to all the Codeunits and Reports, since it does not rely on Custom Table Data and cannot be controlled by Permission Sets.
vBulk is licensed, not sold, and is provided as a managed solution under a prepaid subscription model. Once deployed to the customer’s D365 tenancy, Velrada has no direct access, and administration is performed by the customer.
Non-exclusive, non-transferable licences for internal business purposes by authorised users, within the scope and quantities purchased
Customer must maintain required Microsoft licensing and accept applicable Microsoft terms under the Microsoft Customer Agreement
Restrictions include not reverse engineering, bypassing access controls, sublicensing, or using vBulk outside purchased usage limits
Velrada may monitor usage to verify compliance and may audit within the terms described
