# Fundraising Overview

An organisation can raise funds from donors using various methods.

- Campaigns
- Events
- One-off Transactions
- Scheduled Payments
- Gift Batches
- Pledge Matches
- Donor Commitments

A Contact record must be created to receive any donation from a contact.
