Roster Status
Overview: Clients can define roster period statuses that align with their business processes. Roster periods can be configured to trigger automated actions, such as locking shifts or syncing shifts to the Work Hours Calendar.
Benefit:
Allow automated behaviors on shifts in a roster period based on the roster periods status.
This feature fulfills a common request; lock shifts from past pay cycles by aligning roster periods with the client’s pay schedule.
Roster Periods
Overview: Allows roster shifts to be divided into smaller, manageable periods. Each period and its shifts can be locked independently or trigger automated processes based on the roster period's status. This moves the existing "publish roster" functionality to the roster period level.
Benefit:
Allow greater control over a roster and its shifts.

Install and Upgrade PowerRoster from App Source
Overview: Clients can now install PowerRoster with a single click from Microsoft AppSource.
Benefit: Clients save time by installing PowerRoster on their own schedule, reducing the overhead of coordinating with Velrada.
Hierarchy App Settings
Overview: Allows global app settings to be overridden for specific rosters.
Benefit:
Clients can configure different default behaviors for individual rosters through App Settings.
This feature fulfills a common request: enabling a parent roster to display shifts from child rosters.
Auto download PowerRoster licenses
Overview: Users can now automatically download new and renew existing licenses from the health checker screen.
Benefit: Clients save time by automating PowerRoster license management, reducing the overhead of coordinating with Velrada.
Initial release of Documentation Portal
Overview: PowerRoster documentation is now available online through a portal.
Benefit: Clients can now self-service and access the latest Power Roster guides, release notes, and FAQs all in one place via the documentation portal.
Improved initial day selection of Roster Calendar
Overview: Improvements have been made to the default day displayed when opening the roster calendar:
The roster calendar will open to the first day for rosters that start in the future.
The roster calendar will open to the current day for active rosters.
The roster calendar will open to the last day for rosters that have ended in the past.
Benefit: This enhancement ensures users are immediately presented with the most relevant date, improving usability and efficiency when managing rosters.
Frontline App Offline Capability
Overview: Enable Frontline Application to work while in offline mode
Benefit:
Increase Frontline App uptime even within network limiting areas.
Improve responsiveness of Application when working with offline data stores.
Work Hours Calendar Optimisations
Overview: Decreased the time it takes sync large number shifts to the Work Hours Calendar.
Benefit: Users see the resources calendar, in resource scheduler ,updated quicker.
Overview: RPI functions properly when RPI is written
Benefit: RPI can now be written to two calendars and cancelled availability removes the RPI from the Resouces Work Hours Calendar.
Health checker updates
Overview: Environment configuration manager to help easily set up PowerRoster for initial installation or subsequent upgrades.
Benefit: Decrease the time and button clicks to perform a PowerRoster installation and or upgrade.
Roster Setting to Collapse or Expand Group Headings by Default
Overview: Configure whether the roster expands or collapses positions upon loading.
Benefit: Enhance the user experience by allowing users to select the configuration that best suits their needs, ensuring a more personalized and efficient view of the roster.
