Receipting configuration
You can opt to generate a receipt automatically for a completed transaction from the transaction record.
Open Default Configuration record
Set “Send Receipt Automatically” as ‘Yes’
Select Default Queue,
Select Default Single Giving Receipt Email Template and Default Annual Receipt Email Template
Generate automated receipt for Single Donation
When the Transaction record is updated to Status Reason as Completed,
PwE automatically creates a new receipt record, with below details:
Unique Organization Identifier
Receipt #
Donor
Value of Donations
Receipt Issue Date
Receipt Generation as ‘System Generated’
Receipt Stack
Receipt Status as ‘Issued’
And a link to the receipt record appears in the Receipt# field on the transaction record.
If Transaction’s Receipt Preference = Email or Both, send an email as per Default Single Giving Receipt Email Template from Default Queue
Generate automated receipt for Regular Donation
When the “Annual Receipt” Power Automate is executed by PwE
Then PwE automatically creates a Receipt record with below details:
Unique Organization Identifier
Receipt #
Donor
Value of Donations
Receipt Issue Date
Receipt Generation as ‘System Generated’
Receipt Stack
Receipt Status as ‘Issued’
and link the Receipt to the originating Payment Schedule record (as 1:M relationship)
If Payment Schedule’s Receipt Preference = Email OR Both, send an email as per Default Annual Receipt Email Template from Default Queue
