Create New Persona

  1. Navigate to PowerRoster App > Rosters > Roster Persona.

  2. Select +New.

  1. Fill in the required fields and Save.

Field

Description

*Name

Enter the Name of Roster Persona, for example Senior Emergency Responder, Administrator, etc

*Owner

By default, the name of the current user is displayed in the Owner field

Organizational Unit

Select the Organisation Unit from the lookup if applicable

Resource Type

Select Resource Type. A classification that describes who or what the resource is and how the resource relates to your organisation.

For Example: Generic, Contact, User, Equipment, Account, Crew, Facility, etc

Characteristics and Skills

Find and select the required characteristics and skills

Categories

Find and select the required Categories

Add Characteristics and Skills

Characteristics are skills or attributes that can be associated with a Roster Persona and a Bookable Resource. PowerRoster uses Characteristics to filter and match the skills of the available resources to ensure the correct resource is assigned to the Shift or Roster Position.

Characteristics can be used to indicate a license or certification needed to complete a certain time of work. E.g. clearance for working at heights, or a first aid certificate.

  1. Navigate to Roster Persona> Characteristics and Skills section.

  2. Select +New Persona Characteristic.

  1. Fill in the required fields and Save.

Find and select the required characteristic

Rating Value

If applicable, add a Rating Value for the resource

Roster Persona

Roster Persona is auto-populated if the record is created from Persona

Owner

By default, the name of the current user is displayed in the Owner field.

Add Categories

Persona Categories let you group your Bookable Resources by Type. For example, you can create categories like Supervisor, Administrator, or Technician.

  1. Navigate to Roster Persona> Persona Category section.

  2. Select +New Persona Category.

  1. Fill in the required fields and Save.
