General Availability (GA): September 2025
Headline Features
Timeline View
Overview: The Timeline provides a configurable visual representation of rostered Allocations or Segments, showing positions/roles allocated to the roster and assigned resources. Clients can now define their own FetchXML queries to control filters, data, and behaviours. Inline JavaScript execution is supported, enabling custom actions such as opening forms or updating data.
Benefit: Clients gain flexibility to adapt the Timeline to their unique datasets and business needs. This update replaces the older control with a modern version that can be applied to more entities, supports advanced configuration, and allows tailored user interactions.
Time Entries
Overview: Time Entries allow frontline workers to record worked hours, whether linked to rostered shifts, availability, or entered independently. Time Entry Rules give clients the ability to configure how entries behave across rosters, resources, personas, or shift types.
Benefit: Frontline workers can now capture actuals against both planned and unplanned work. Clients can tailor rules to their organisation’s needs, ensuring flexibility in managing time reporting across different workforce scenarios.
Time Entry Manager
Overview: The Time Entry Manager is a custom PCF control embedded into the My Active Time Entries view. It provides a calendar-style interface where frontline workers can view, create, and edit time entries grouped by roster, with support for proposed and submitted states. Bulk actions and streamlined entry workflows improve ease of use.
Benefit: A purpose-built interface makes managing time entries more intuitive and efficient. Frontline workers save time with quick entry and editing, while managers benefit from improved data consistency.
Approval Flow Process
Overview: Approval Flow is a new framework that allows organisations to design and enforce custom approval processes for Time Entries and Availabilities. It includes stages, transitions, validations, permissions, and a full audit history of approval actions. In this release, Approvals are enabled specifically for Availabilities and Time Entries, giving clients immediate use of the framework in two critical workforce areas.
Benefit: Clients can define their own approval journeys to align with business requirements. This provides control, compliance, and transparency over how frontline data is reviewed and approved, starting with Leave and Time Entries.
Compliance Enhancements
Overview: PowerRoster Compliance has been expanded with new validation capabilities, a richer data model, and reliability improvements. Rules now support validation of lambda expressions, and clock-on/clock-off data is included in compliance checks. In addition, retry policies have been introduced to the Logic App, ensuring that if common errors (such as SQL “warming up” issues) occur, the process is retried automatically. Previously, these errors could cause nightly, or batch runs to fail intermittently and require manual re-execution.
Benefit: Organisations can create more robust fatigue, overtime, or contractual compliance rules. Automated retry handling reduces operational overhead, prevents unnecessary run failures, and ensures that compliance checks continue without manual intervention.
Compliance Bring Your Own Data
Overview: Clients can now extend the Compliance Data Model with their own data sources. Custom attributes and datasets can be incorporated into compliance checks, allowing tailored rules that go beyond the out-of-the-box configuration.
Benefit: Organisations can enforce compliance rules on unique, business-specific data. This ensures PowerRoster’s compliance framework adapts to industry-specific or client-specific requirements.
Roster Calendar Virtualisation
Overview: Virtualisation is now available for the Roster Calendar. When enabled via App Settings, only the visible portion of the calendar is rendered, reducing load times and improving performance for rosters with large datasets.
Benefit: Clients experience faster loading and smoother performance when working with large rosters. Virtualisation improves usability without sacrificing functionality.

Overview: The PowerWorker™ documentation portal, powered by Velrada, is a central hub for mastering the suite of intelligent products that support workforce, project, asset, and operations management. It offers tailored guidance to help users maximise the value of each product.
Benefit: The portal simplifies access to best practices, detailed guides, and support materials—empowering teams to work smarter, adopt features faster, and drive greater efficiency across their operations.

Benefit: Accreditation empowers individuals to adopt, manage, and scale PowerRoster™ effectively while boosting engagement and compliance.
