Create Roster Pattern

  1. Navigate to PowerRoster App > Rosters > Select Roster Patterns.

  2. Select +New.

  1. Fill in the required fields and Save.

Creating a Roster Pattern from the Roster Position Workflow

PowerRoster Release 8.2 enables users to select, create, and duplicate roster patterns directly within position creation workflows. The control provides real-time search capabilities, inline pattern creation, and one-click duplication with pre-populated data, all without leaving the position form.

When creating a new Roster Position for a Roster:

  1. Click on the Search icon on the Roster Pattern field.
    This will open a Roster Patterns window next to the field.

  2. The user has three options to choose from:

    1. Select a Roster Pattern to apply to the Roster Position.

    2. Duplicate the Roster Pattern to create a new pattern using the existing pattern. This pattern can now be saved as a new Roster Pattern to be applied to the current or future Roster Positions.
      Click on the Duplicate icon next to a Roster. This will open a new Roster Pattern window with the characteristics of the existing pattern which can now be edited.



    3. Create a new Roster from scratch. Click on +New to create a new Roster Pattern.
