Use AI to Create Pattern Data

PowerRoster Release 8.2 update now allows users to create Pattern data for existing an pattern using natural language prompts.

1. Ensure that you have an existing Pattern already set up and open the Pattern.

2. Click on the Prompt button in the command bar.
   This will open a window on the screen.
   
   

3. Select Pattern JSON Generation: Default as the Prompt Type.

4. Enter User Input as per your requirements. This would be the task you want performed.
   For example, Create one shift per day. Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM to 5PM.

5. Click on Save & Close.
   You should see a message saying “PowerRoster CoPilot is currently processing a request for this record.“ at the top of your screen. Click on Refresh and your changes should have been made to the Roster.
