Use AI to Create Roster Data

PowerRoster Release 8.2 update now allows users to create Roster data for existing rosters using natural language prompts.

  1. Ensure that you have an existing Roster already set up and open the Roster.

  2. Click on the Prompt button in the command bar.
    This will open a window on the screen.

  1. Select Roster Data Generation: Default as the Prompt Type.

  2. Enter User Input as per your requirements. This would be the task that you want to be perform.
    For example, create a new Roster Position named “Create a Roster Position named “ER Chief“ and use the 8 hours per day roster pattern“.


    You should see a message saying “PowerRoster CoPilot is currently processing a request for this record.“ at the top of your screen. Click on Refresh and your changes should have been made to the Roster.

  3. Click on Save & Close.
