Overview: vGroup Scheduler introduces guided scheduling assistant specifically for Requirement Groups, ensuring all grouped resource requirements are evaluated together for skills, characteristics, and availability.

Benefit: Dispatcher effort drops significantly by eliminating manual coordination across multiple Schedule Assistant searches, while ensuring all resources can reliably start at the same time.


Multi select Requirement Groups Scheduling

Overview: Allows multiple requirement groups to be scheduled in one unified action.

Benefit: Reduces booking steps and minimises human error by creating all required bookings simultaneously and consistently across multiple requirement groups with an ease.

Assisted Multi Day Scheduling for Requirement Groups

Overview: Enables assisted scheduling across multiple days for group requirements, automatically calculating remaining effort per requirement and managing staggered time slots where needed.

Benefit: Allows realistic planning of long‑running work while maintaining group alignment, reducing rework and improving scheduling accuracy.


Advanced Search, Filters & Configuration

Overview: Provides both standard filtering (skills, characteristics, availability) and configurable customer specific filters such as Supervisor, Assignment Type, or Internal/External resource status.

Benefit: Gives dispatchers more precise control over resource selection, ensuring operational policies and constraints are met without custom development.


Unified User Experience

Overview: Embedded, intuitive panel within the D365 Field Service interface presenting resources as cards with availability, travel time, and characteristic matching indicators.

Benefit: Improves dispatcher productivity by presenting all relevant information in a clear, consolidated format without switching screens and a Drag-n-drop feature to manage updates to the resourcing combinations.


Security Roles

Overview: Introduces two roles—Scheduler User and Scheduler Admin—to separate booking permissions from configuration access.

Benefit: Ensures appropriate governance, secure management of configuration settings, and clear role separation across teams.
